Shigeru Tanaka wrote a serie of 36 episodes in the newspaper Yuyoku Hochi Shimbun.
A non-fiction comical depiction of the success story of a man who, after graduating from high school, takes over his father’s paint shop and grows up amidst hardships. The Japanese artist also draw novel characters and illustrations.
The serie was originally scheduled for 48 episodes, but they ended up finishing it with 36 episodes, enjoying specially the illustrations. You can see drawings, which were initially descriptive of the situation, changed to ones that expressed the feelings of the characters.

This work is considered the starting point for Shigeru Tanaka to begin painting female figures.
