Picture description

The number 11 on the back of the canvas is written by Shigeru Tanaka.
Tje Japanese artist began learning oil painting in April of the sixth year of primary school, and drew a painting every month.
This is probably the eleventh piece. That's why he wrote the number 11.
A young Shigeru Tanaka headed to the neighboring city one Saturday afternoon, with his oil painting tools. To support the easel, he was willing to use the front basket of his bicycle. It seems that at that time he drew the same paintings, along with other adults, probably students of a more advanced level of painting.

Shigeru Tanaka still uses the same palette, toolbox and easel.
